Palm Vision Center offers Ophthalmic Lenses and Frames

Our lens technology includes examinations for the following ophthalmic lenses:

LIGHTWEIGHT AND THIN LENSES

For moderate to high prescriptions, we offer polycarbonate and high index lenses that look great and also offer a higher level of eye protection for children, athletes, and certain dangerous occupations.

POLARIZED LENSES

These dark lenses provide an excellent option for sunglasses to reduce daytime glare. They are especially beneficial for activities such as fishing and watersports.

NON-GLARE LENSES

Also known as anti-reflective (AR) lenses, this technology provides the sharpest and clearest vision available while reducing the unwanted glare that can come from headlights, streetlights, and computer monitors.
We are an authorized Crizal® distributor along with many other anti-reflective brands.

NO LINE BIFOCALS

Also know as progressives, these lenses provide a wide range of vision, from distance thru intermediate and near, all in one lens. This lens option is excellent for use when changing focus from far to near and everything in between. Best of all, nobody even knows you're wearing bifocals because they are invisible. We are the authorized Varilux® distributor along with many other progressive brands. 

TRANSITION LENSES

These lenses stay clear indoor but darken with direct sunlight. This is an excellent option if you want to combine a clear lens with sunglasses, eliminating the need for separate sunglasses.

ULTRAVIOLET AND BLUE-VIOLET BLOCKERS

These clear or mostly clear coatings block harmful ultraviolet light which can cause cataracts, and block selective blue-violet light which has recently been found to be a cause of retinal degenerative diseases such as macular degeneration.
